AI Safety and Legal Integrity
StillProof is a structured evidentiary system developed to support admissibility, procedural fairness, and compliance with Australian legal standards. It does not create legal documents, offer legal advice, or submit materials to the court. Its core purpose is to assist users in documenting and reviewing factual information within a secure, traceable, and legally aligned environment.
What the System Supports
-
Organisation of user-submitted records into a sequenced and time-stamped format
-
Identification of recurring factual patterns for professional review
-
Preparation of documentation for use in affidavits and legal proceedings by authorised individuals
-
Recording of authorship, source, and time metadata for all interactions and outputs
What the System Prohibits
-
It does not generate affidavits, statutory declarations, or court-ready submissions
-
It does not provide legal interpretation or simulate legal reasoning
-
It does not insert or fabricate legal citations, authorities, or legislative content
-
It does not act as a representative, advisor, or automation tool for legal practice
Alignment with Australian Judicial Requirements
StillProof has been developed to reflect and support the following legal frameworks:
All procedural outputs are user-controlled and verifiable. Any system assistance is recorded and declared for transparency.
Affidavit workflows within StillProof require direct user authorship. No generative functions are permitted in any part of the process used to prepare sworn statements.
All user-submitted content is time-stamped and logged with associated authorship and source data. This supports admissibility under sections 58, 69, and 71 of the Act.
Evidence Verification and Integrity Controls
-
Each record includes a timestamp, authorship identity, and system use log
-
Reports can be accompanied by cryptographic seals or verification links
-
Final documents submitted to the court must be affirmatively reviewed and completed by the user
Statement of Purpose
StillProof is a legal recordkeeping system designed to protect the integrity of evidence, not to replace legal expertise. It does not generate legal documents. It provides a secure and procedurally compliant environment for recording and reviewing factual information in a format suitable for legal oversight. The system exists to support the role of legal professionals, not to replicate it.
